Great Place to visit and watch the natcher

Brought my New Mexican takeout lunch to eat at the picnic area

Quite with excellent amenities. Disc golf, boardwalk, playground, walking track, outfit classroom.

I feel like this park gets a bad wrap just because it's named after a Big Cypress Tree that is no longer with us (The story can be seen on some historical bulletin boards). There are other things to do here people! Great for picnics and quiet evening walks. It's always clean and usually full of pleasant park goers. I often ride down to the park, walk the boardwalk, and just sit and enjoy the view at the end. It's not the most exciting park in Tennessee, but it is very nice in its own way.

Very interesting place. My wife and I visited here and even though the main trail is a short one it is concrete throughout and would make an easy trip for those with specialty needs such as wheelchairs and the like and there are ALOT of labeled plants and tree varieties that are fun to look into.
